ABOUT US
The namesake of our shop is Dee, the late mother of the shop's owner, Amanda. Known as "Dee Dee" to those closest to her, she adored antiquing and decorating and passed that love on to Amanda. The Dee Dee's team is made up of talented women who joined forces and harnessed their shared love of finding old beautiful things and turning them into new beautiful things! We hope that the pieces sold in the shop bearing her name will bring you as much happiness as Dee Dee radiated to those she loved.
WHY DEE DEE'S
ONE OF A KIND
PIECES
Whether it is case goods such as dressers and buffets that have been thoughtfully reimagined by our furniture artisans, or throw pillows and accessories fashioned by hand from rescued fabrics, our products are truly unique. Although refurbished vintage furniture is easily found elsewhere, you won't find Dee Dee's goods anywhere else!

BUILT-TO-LAST
QUALITY
The craftsmanship of early American furnishings simply cannot be matched today. “They just don’t make them like they used to” may be a cliché... but it is true. The items we select to feature in our shop were built to last and have long lives ahead of them. We are simply the conduit between their past and their future in your home.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Each of our pieces is lovingly reimagined with great care and appreciation for the artisanry that went into creating it in the first place. Whether it is showcasing intricate hand-carved details on our wood furniture or highlighting lush prints on rescued textiles, we take great pride in getting the details just right. We hope our Dee Dee's goods will fill your home with the same good energy that went into restoring them.
BEFORE &
AFTER PHOTOS
The act of refurbishing is such a rewarding part of the creative process for our team, and we love to share that with you through before and after photos of our work. Our talented team of artisans takes great care in reimagining each piece and helping it realize its full potential.
RESPONSIBLE
CONSUMERISM
Dee Dee’s is committed to responsible consumerism. We partner with vendors that are small, family-run businesses owned and operated by women. Our throw pillow inserts are filled with 100% organic cotton sustainably sourced in the U.S. Our upholstered goods are freshened with 100% cotton batting and cotton muslin; we use natural products only, not polyfill or foam. And we clean and prep our pieces with safe, non-toxic cleaning products.
HISTORICAL RESEARCH
We strive to provide as much information as possible about the history and provenance of our pieces. Each item is carefully inspected for identifying labels or stamps, and we compile information about common manufacturers. Before accepting pieces to rehome, we gather details about who owned them, where they came from, and how old they are. Then we pass that information on to you.
