This piece was acquired locally from the daughter of its original owner.
The thick, glossy blond lacquer was stropped from the table top, which was in turn sanded and oiled for a fresh and gorgeous natural maple butcher block finish. The casing was painted a creamy, dreamy off-white: Fusion Mineral Paint in Raw Silk, then sealed with hemp oil. The original brass hardware was cleaned but not polished to retain its beautiful patina. Finally, the drawer was lined with a whimsical-print fabric. [Artisan: ABP]
